Yogurt chocolate mousse is a simple dessert/snack made with only 3 ingredients. Lighter than your traditional mousse, eggless recipe with lots of flavoring options!
I recently developed this recipe for Yogurt Chocolate Mousse with Dannon on my instagram. If you are looking for a fuss-free dessert – Yogurt Chocolate Mousse is the one for you. The flavor is slightly tart, decadent, and you can add in your favorite flavorings like coffee, cinnamon, chili, mint.
In a bowl, add dark chocolate. Pour hot milk over and let it sit 2-3 minutes until the chocolate starts to melt. Use a spatula to stir the mixture. If needed, heat the chocolate and milk mixture in the microwave for 15 seconds to ensure everything is smooth as a ganache.
Fold in the yogurt with chocolate mixture. Add sea salt and vanilla extract to taste. This is your time to play with different flavorings and extracts. Taste and adjust the flavors.
Pour the mixture into small cups or ramekins and let it chill overnight or until the mousse is completely set. Cover the ramekins with a plastic wrap or keep it covered.
Serve with your choice of toppings such as chopped pistachios, sprinkles, candy cane, or a light dusting of cocoa powder.

In Nepali language, sadeko roughly means marinated. Please don’t ask me why I am calling marinated chicken a salad..for lack of a better word maybe. While growing up in Nepal, I didn’t eat “fresh, green, leafy salad” like we do in the West, so I just associate “sadeko” or marinating anything with with spices and tempering… Continue reading Chicken Sadeko | Shredded Chicken Salad
