I say this every year but seriously, 2018 flew by and it was one of the exciting + challenging years so far. Quickly looking back at some of the highlights : I travelled to UK and Japan and few other US cities, I juggled my full-time job + co-own a small culinary business (my blog partially died in the process but that’s a story for another day), and my health and wellness didn’t suffer majorly. Thank you 2018 for all the lessons, opportunities, and hard work, but now bring on 2019.

I spend majority of my waking hours around food but a lot of times, it’s out of necessity or business-centric. Food, Pleasure, and Health started as a passion project to document my culinary and wellness adventure, share recipes + little snippets of my life and I haven’t done a great job at it these past few months. I have missed playing with different ingredients in my kitchen & overthinking how to plate and when to shoot food, and what I really really miss is connecting with everyone on the blogosphere (even though it feels like blogs are slowly dying…). In 2019, I want to be more disciplined about food blogging, experiment with recipes, and learn techniques I have always wanted to. In order to make some of that happen, I have compiled a Culinary Wishlist for 2019 and I am excited to take you along in this foodie-adventure.
My Culinary Wishlist for 2019 is a mix and match of things me and the boyfriend have always wanted to try together, which are inspired from our travels, things we enjoy eating, and from tv shows. We hope to try one thing from the wishlist every month and share the experience on the blog + instagram. I am purposely keeping the structure of this wish list very casual and letting it take its own course, with no expectations or stress. Our goal is to simply enjoy the process and hopefully learn a thing or two from it.
I hope you will follow along in this adventure with us and if you’ve tried any of the wishes from above – have resources, tips, fav recipes etc please feel free to share in the comment below.. Looking forward to cooking, sharing, and eating a lot more in 2019.
