Virtual Coffee Date (Nepal Edition - I)

If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I am having a great time in Nepal, Kathmandu to be exact.

I have been resting, eating, and hanging out with my family. If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I have been exploring hole-in-the-wall type restaurants and I have not felt sick because everyone warns you to not eat anything from outside... The picture below is a traditional Newari cuisine from a restaurant called Newa Lahana, which I highly suggest if you are in the area and looking for an authentic Newari food.

If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that roads in Kathmandu (and outside Kathmandu) are insanely crowded and narrow. I can't fathom driving here in million years because you don't know who is going to suddenly appear out of nowhere. Think pedestrian, bicycle, goat, child, another car...

If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that it's been interesting to watch people live a different lifestyle that I am used to.  What I consider a basic necessity, for example air conditioning or a car is a luxury to many..

If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I have so much more to share and I can't wait until our next coffee date. What would you tell me if we were having coffee this morning?
