If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I absolutely hate cold windy, 30F temperature. I moved to Texas hoping that it wouldn't get as cold as Idaho or Illinois but I guess winter followed me here. image via
If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I am really looking forward to cooking thanksgiving dinner this year - have you seen the thanksgiving recipe roundup yet?
If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I need sweater dresses. Actually many more sweater dresses because that's what you will see me wear during winter months. These are some I came across on the internet now the goal is to get something similar real soon.If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you about new blogs I have been enjoying lately - The Yellow Table (Anna's words are very inspiring), Uproot From Oregon, and The Nutritious Kitchen.
If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that my graduate school classes are not going so-well this semester. I have been to forgetting turn in my assignments or realize that I need a textbook to complete the assignment last minute. Pro tip: Read syllabus CAREFULLY beforehand to see if you absolutely have to purchase the textbook, even if it means only for just one assignment - this just makes me mad..If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I took a break from working out after the half-marathon and I kind of like this new comfortable routine where I change into my pj's, eat, sleep and repeat. I am blaming the 30F degree weather but it's gotta change.
If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I have been breaking out a lot which is why my dermatologist put me back on antibiotics (minocycline) and a cream called Tazorac since last month. I did not see much progress so on my follow up visit yesterday we decided to try another antibiotics (doxycycline) which has worked for me in the past. This is the part where it gets a little ridiculous - I am not a huge fan of taking herbal supplements but feeling very hopeless with acne(after very few readings on the internet) I have decided to take (or I have been taking it for a week) Whole Herb Chasteberry for menopause support. Don't ask. Based on the acne chart, my acne seems to be hormonal so Chasteberry might help balance my hormones..It's too soon to tell but surprisingly, my inflammation has gone by a lot but again this could be due to who knows what. If we were having coffee this morning, I'd tell you that I have been extremely busy with work (and trying to keep up with school work) which is why I haven't had time to respond to your comments as well as write on your posts. I promise I read your posts regularly on my phone but it's not convenient to comment from it.
