I leave for Nepal in 3 days (eeeeeeeek) and I have mentally checked myself out from the kitchen. I am cooking very minimally with an intention to clean out my fridge + eat meals that are super simple to put together. Enter 3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce – it’s smoky, spicy, and multi-purpose so I am holding on to it this week as my salad dressing, pasta/pizza sauce, and a vehicle for my snacks. I have always been a huge fan of chipotle peppers in abodo sauce but this 3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce is a major game changer!
3 Ingredients + a food processor (or a blender) + 3 minutes of your time will give you the creamiest, spicy sauce that you want to slather on everything. Chipotle sauce in adobo has a smoky fiery kick but you easily adjust the heat level with more yogurt less chipotle. I use chipotle in adobo mostly in my chili but I am so excited to add this 3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce to my everyday things to make.
3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce is naturally gluten-free and vegetarian. For my vegan friends, you can substitute yogurt with your fav plain-vegan yogurt or possibly cashew cream but I haven’t tried it myself.
If smoky, spicy is your thing, you are going to lick this 3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce as your are making it (quality control right?). I used 3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce as pasta sauce and added sauted veggies + cheese for a quick dinner. Did I mention vegetables like cucumber, tomatoes, bell peppers will taste so much more delicious when dipped in 3 Ingredient Chipotle Cream Sauce? It’s a lovely vehicle for other snacks like crackers, pita chips, fries, sandwiches etc.
