Turn your favorite overnight oats into popsicles. It is a nutritious and fun treat for Summer and great for grab n’ go breakfast & snack.
So lately I have been on a major popsicle kick, which explains my liking for smoothie popsicles and overnight oat popsicles. I don’t know if its the heat or the convenience of having something grab n’ go in the freezer, but I know overnight oats popsicles are here to stay! The great thing about Overnight Oats Popsicle is they are substantial, packed with nutrients, and flexible to fit vegan, gluten-free, allergy-free lifestyles!
Overnight oat is something people absolutely love or can’t stand it; I totally get it if texture is your thing and can’t do oats. If you want to skip the oats part and jump right into popsicles, I won’t judge I promise. To be honest, I was slightly hesitant about Overnight Oats Popsicles too but now I am sold…
Overnight Oats Popsicles are same as your overnight oats except that they are frozen and fun. You can play around with different fruits, nuts, seeds, and other toppings. Instead of one boring flavor, go all out and try different flavors of Overnight Oats Popsicles. I am sharing 4 different variations to give you some inspiration but these are truly your Overnight Oats Popsicles!
Start your Overnight Oats Popsicles by getting all the ingredients ready. First get oat mixture together and allow it to soak for 10-15 minutes. In the meanwhile, get your mix ready in different bowls. Some of the my favorite ones are:
Mixed Berries : I did a variety of berries (both frozen and fresh) and mashed them together with chia seeds.
Tropical : Mix of chopped pineapples, mangoes, and toasted sweetened coconut. The toasted coconut adds so much flavor, don’t skip that. Peaches & Cream : I did a mix of chopped peaches, honey (or maple syrup), and plain yogurt. For vegan, you can use non-dairy creamer or yogurt. Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate: This is my favorite combo!! It’s a mix of mashed banana, peanut butter, cinnamon, and chocolate chips. Adding chocolate chips in the mix is a nice surprise! I have provided general guideline on the ingredients I used for the popsicle below but again, it could vary based on your popsicle mold. Tools used: stainless steel popsicle mold (affiliate)
- 1 cup quick rolled oats
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- For Berries:
- ¼ cup mix frozen berries
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- For PB Chocolate:
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 1 banana mashed
- 2-3 tablespoon chocolate chips
- For Tropical:
- ⅛ cup chopped mangoes
- ⅛ cup chopped pineapple
- 2-3 tablespoon toasted unsweetened coconut flakes
- For Peaches n' Cream:
- ¼ cup chopped peaches
- 2-3 tablespoon plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- In a large bowl mix rolled oats, milk, and sweetener and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Layer popsicle mold with 1 tablespoon oat mixture followed by 1-2 tablespoon of fruit combination you prefer to use. Layer with another tablespoon oat mixture. Gently use a fork of mix everything and add desired toppings.
- Freeze the popsicle mold for 6-8 hours or until frozen.
